Summary
[SUBTITLE]: "This ancient pastime of Lawn Billiards dates back 500 years. These balls are made of hard wood - weighing nine pounds each - A clearance of only 1/8th of an inch is left when passing through the ring." At one end of a small circular lawn men toss large wooden balls by means of a stick with a metal hoop, aiming to pass them through a ring in the centre of the lawn. Various shots of match in progress - scores are made by direct shots or by knocking one ball against another.
