NoS Summary - The first woman billiards champion.
British Pathe synopsis: "Consternation has appeared in the ranks of the Old Brigade - a woman Billiards Champion has appeared - Miss Joyce Gardner!" M/S of Miss Gardner chalking her cue. M/S of Miss Gardner leaning over the table taking a shot. "Miss Gardner has exceeded the century on many occasions and would be a doughty opponent for most men. (Sitting down at the back is Tom Reece.)" View from behind Miss Gardner as she takes a shot, closer view of her taking shots. "Not quite up to the Lindrum standard, but then, there’s only one Lindrum." C/U of the billiard balls as shots are taken. We are shown one of her "pet strokes". Joyce performs a little trick shot.
