- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess Elizabeth Becomes of Age. DESCRIPTION: Princess Elizabeth is eighteen on the 21st April, when she will assume the dignities and responsibilities of Heir Presumptive to the Throne. In these delightful informal pictures the Princess and her sister ride their ponies ‘Jock’ and ‘Hans’. The King and Queen join their daughters in looking at three foals. SHOTLIST: Cut story - CU Princess Elizabeth on horseback. Various trucking shots of Princess Elizabeth & Margaret riding their ponies. Fade to their younger days, also dressed in Girl Guides uniforms. More shots of Elizabeth & Margaret riding. Riding into camera, the two are greeted by their parents. Princess Elizabeth & Princess Margaret get their ponies to perform. Unsaddled their horses, then go over to another paddock, various shots of them with the ponies. Dogs eat bran. GS of the Royals with ponies around them. GS of Princess Elizabeth between two ponies to finish.
