MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Monty With Canadians. DESCRIPTION: General Montgomery recently paid a visit to Canadian Troops in his command. He was also present at an Ice Hockey Final between a Canadian Highland Regiment and Canadian Reinforcement Units. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Canadian Guard of Honour salute Montgomery, whom returns salute. CU Monty. Climbs onto Jeep. Canadian troops paraded in field break ranks to gather round him, various shots of troops assembled round him. CU Monty speaking (silent) through mike. At ice hockey match, interior shots shows Monty walking onto ice to inspect teams. Various shots of play. Monty presents medals to winners.
