- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Xmas in Cairo. DESCRIPTION: Alf and Bert spend Christmas Day at the races in Cairo, but Alf loses more than his shirt. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS crowds at race meeting. CU Alf & Bert looking at their racing cards. Walking round getting tips off people, looking over peoples shoulders etc. Looking around stables & paddock, as horses parade round. GS of race, both lose. CU Alf with mouth open as in next race horse runs out, Bert wins, counting his money, Alf decides to put all on the last race GS of race board. Alf again loses, GS & out of camera shot of Alf in his pant only & Bert in battle dress walking back to barracks.
