- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: To Entertain the Troops Bob Hope & Gracie Fields. DESCRIPTION: Gracie Fields has arrived from America for a two month visit to entertain the troops. Also here from the States is Bob Hope who gave a concert for Allied serviceman. SHOTLIST: Cut Story - Gracie Fields gets out of car. CU of her, group standing round her, signing autographs, & MS of her with group which includes Mr Chisnell. MS of roof Gracie Fields speaking to small group (silent) fade to programme of "Just Perfect Harmony" shows on front shot of Churchill & Roosevelt. This is at the Leicester Square Odeon. Yankees filing into cinema, also other Allied troops, passing through vestibule, pan of audience, shows all types of soldiers & sailors, these pans are very good. LS of stage shows Bob Hope & Hal Le Roy dancing, also MS of them. MS & CU of Bob Hope cracking a few tales about Churchill, in sound.
