MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Argentine Revolt. DESCRIPTION: A brief revolt in Argentina has resulted in the overthrow of Castillo and a new regime under General Ramirez taking over. SHOTLIST: Various scenes of the rioting in the streets. Tear-gas bombs are thrown and troops drive up in lorries. Buses have been overturned as the crowds jostle through the streets. Crowds outside the Palace acclaim General Ramirez who has ousted Castillo from the pre-eminent position of the country. Buses turned over & set fire to. Ramirez can be seen on the balcony amid crowds of officials, profile of him.
