MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mustangs. DESCRIPTION: The Mustang fighter is being used to attack transport and power stations on the Continent. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Line of Mustangs, & all taking off. Mustang taxiing & panning with Mustang in flight. Two out of camera, wheels going up under wings. LS of planes in straight line, approaching camera. Aerial shots of target, viz lorries (three) Mustangs coming in to attack, tracers fired at ‘targets’ bits of lighted material flying off lorries. Ground LS of vehicles. LS of burning vehicles. Aerial shots of Mustangs over enemy train, & firing at same, hits engine. Cut-ins of Mustangs roaring past camera. Various shots of trains being hit, this last piece is actual stuff.
