- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Women Work Wonders. DESCRIPTION: Women have played a large part in the war effort during the past three years. SHOTLIST: Story commences with lady in evening dress, then another in overalls, another in office attire, she goes over to filing cabinet open same, takes out a photo of girls in a factory, the photo comes to life, then what follows is more or less what girls are doing to help the war effort such as, working on railways, stations, signal boxes, repairing lines, painting bridges, working in factory, turning out ammunition, making tanks, also aircraft, working as conductresses on buses & trams, acting as porters in railway stations, doing office work, finishing up in the filing cabinet (in the photo - which is placed back in draw).
