Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: RAF Move Forward. DESCRIPTION: The RAF is playing a decisive part in the victory over Rommel’s forces with lightning attacks. It has also provided air cover for the advancing supply columns which are moving up in the wake of the Nazi army. SHOTLIST: Cut story - German Stork (captured) landing on desert airfield. Coningham & Tedder climbing into same, plane taxies and takes off. Mitchells flying low over aerodrome. Ground staff preparing to move up the line, dismantling tents, taking down camouflage etc. Convoy moved onto road or side track, also into camera shot of convoy. Wrecked Mess.109, on airfield. Troops lined up for food, being served with same, back to aerodrome showing Spitfire landing by German plane. Lockheed Hudson takes off; flying low over convoy (endless) pan shot. Mitchells in formation; aerial shot of road along which the Germans are retreating, bombs burst shown, camera moves along road.
