MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bushmen’s Haul. DESCRIPTION: Papuan bushmen carry supplies through the jungle on a journey of over seventy miles. SHOTLIST: General shot of natives paddling boat up stream, jungle surroundings on each side. CU Native. Unloading boat of cargo. General shot of camp. CU Woman rocking baby to sleep, in an onion sack. Native now commences trek across country. Natives crossing deep ravine by means of rope bridge. Native crossing same by means of tree trunks slung across from side to side. Trekking across comparatively flat country, single file. Bushmen arriving at village. Doctor examined feet of natives. Heart Of New Guinea - CARD 42753 General shot of native paddling outboard powered canoe up river, with jungle land on either bank. CU Native as he paddles. Natives unloading cargo on beach. General shot of camp as natives, stop for the night. Dusk shots. Women rocking baby to sleep in onion bag (dusk shots). Native commence trek across country.
