MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Augsburg Hero Weds (Nettleton VC). DESCRIPTION: At Lincoln Squadron Leader Nettleton weds Betty Havelock. SHOTLIST: Wedding of Squadron Leader Nettleton, VC and WAAF Section-Officer Betty Havelock. 1. The wedding took place at St Mary Magdalen Church, Eastgate, London and RAF padre, Squadron Leader Whitelow officiated. 2. The best man was Wing Commander Kenneth Smales, DFC. 3. Among these present was Squadron Leader Roderick Learoyd, VC. He will be seen with the Bride’s sister. 4. Group of RAF men walking to the Church. 5. The Bride was in WAAF uniform.
