Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Supplies to Russia. DESCRIPTION: Locomotives arrive in Iran for use on the railway line running to Russia. SHOTLIST: Shot from front of moving train, showing river running at the bottom of a mountain gorge. Camera pans round to entrance of tunnel, into which the train plunges. Shot taken inside tunnel and exit. Then follows various shots of train advancing through cuttins [sic] and arriving at the station of Shabazan. Persian official shouldering flag. These are followed by shots of the native driver at the controls. Second Section: Shots of locomotive being raised from barge and being lowered on the railway track. Finally the locomotive is seen lowered onto the rails.
