MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Derby, 1942. DESCRIPTION: The two Classics were run at Newmarket and Their Majesties attended on both days. The King’s filly ‘Sun Chariot’ won the Oaks but his Derby runner ‘Big Game’ was beaten by ‘Watling Street’. SHOTLIST: King and Queen arrive on the ground of Newmarket.
