First Mr A Denley winning the "500 cc" Motor Cycle Scratch Race at Brooklands at 90.68 miles per hour. Secondly, Mr Norman Dereham, the famous swimmer, trying out new Aqua-skis at the Welsh Harp, Hendon. Thirdly, the opening of the new aerodrome at Woodley, Reading.
