Summary
Pathe synopsis: Stand by for action, action which calls for precision and fire-fighting teamwork. In fact, Pathe Pic is watching a practice session at the Ministry of Aviation Fire Services Training School, but that doesn’t mean that recruits can treat this exercise as a game. Here at Stansted, special foam and carbon dioxide are used to tackle a burning aircraft - and it takes just three minutes to transform a hot, blazing fire of fuel into a cold-looking Christmas card scene.
