Summary
Pathe synopsis: An Italian restaurant in London claims it can cater for anybody. We tested the claim by taking along two tiny tots - enough to try the patience of any waiter. What happened? The restaurant produced Flavio Giust. Only six-years-old, he’s the youngest waiter in the world. He’s young - but he’s as expert as any waiter. He can spot a mistake in the service at once, and even has a speciality sweet. It’s called "The Volcano" ice cream and meringue, with hot cherries and brandy in the centre. It’s Giustedly good.

Commentary: They’re rather young aren’t they to come to a restaurant like this. But this a restaurant which can serve anybody. For the young who come here there’s a very special service. A very special waiter - six-year-old Flavio Giust. But Flavio is well able to serve anybody. He even trains waiters. And for people who can’t make up their mind - he’s always ready with a tactful suggestion. Those kids don’t look too happy. And Flavio knows it’s his job to make people happy. This is how the whole thing’s done. They may laugh - but Signor Hugo, the owner of the restaurant, says that Flavio is as expert as any adult waiter. He can spot a mistake in the service at once. And his speciality is the volcano - ice cream and meringue with hot cherries and brandy in the centre. the service that six-year-old Flavio gives lasts right through the meal. he might be the smallest waiter in the world - but that’s not going to stop him helping a lady on with her coat. The tip that Flavio gives to his catering colleagues is always be polite and never make anybody feel uncomfortable. But what about the tip the kids have given in return? That’s real lolly.
