Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Churchill in American and Canada. DESCRIPTION: In Ottawa he was presented with a fur cap and wore it when he inspected a Royal Canadian Air Force station. In the gardens of the White House he demonstrated his siren suit. SHOTLIST: The premier attends a press conference and is given a fur hat which he dons. He wears it when he visits a Canadian aerodrome where he watches a training flight and inspects the men. In Washington, in the grounds of the White House he shows how his siren suit works and poses with Harry Hopkins. Commander Thompson, Diana Hopkins (Harry’s daughter) and the president’s dog Falla. One shot shows Paul Wyand shooting the scene.
