Summary
Pathe synopsis: Greatest despoiler of safes is not the burglar as you might expect, but fire. To see how modern manufacturers are coping with this problem, we witness an impressive demonstration in which a safe full of documents is roasted in an oven at 1,780 degrees F, taken out and dropped 30 feet on to concrete, then roasted for a further hour. Believe it or not, after all this, the documents and films inside were found to be in perfect condition!
