- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: Dartmoor may sound a grim place to many people but not to John Bellamy of Postbridge, who is one of the world’s few remaining postmen to deliver mail on horseback. Astride his eight-year-old cob "Tinker", John visits the homes and farms on his ten-mile round once a day, six days a week, winter and summer, and despite the grim winters on the "Moor", 62-year-old John would not exchange his round for any other in the country.
