Summary
Pathe synopsis: Modern trends in dress display have increased the demand for window dummies and today they are being turned out by almost mass-production methods. The life-like dummies, made from a special composition of plaster, emulsion, hessian canvas and chemicals, have hinged joints and rubber hands to heighten the realistic effect. Vital statistics of today’s fashionable female dummy are 36-22-36, but although they always retain their youthful figures, constantly changing fashions limit their length of life to a mere three years.
