MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Lord Mayor’s Day, 1941. DESCRIPTION: It was called the Lord Mayor’s "Day" not "Show", things must be better, this year, if he can have even a day! SHOTLIST: Troops of the Empire headed by a pipe band swing through the streets to the City. Tanks dip their guns in salute as they pass the Lord Mayor. Then the march to the Palace - Guardsmen, sailors, Marines, Empire troops, WAAF, ATS, and all the other services are represented as they pass the King and Queen.
