MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Singapore Reinforcements. DESCRIPTION: Fresh units of the Indian Army and more troops from Britain arrive to reinforce Singapore. SHOTLIST: The transport arrives and the men disembark while the older hands who have been there before play cards. Singapore Defence - CARD 41544 A transport arrives and Indian troops disembark. British reinforcements follow. There is practise with mortars and a coastal defence gun fires. Bren carriers pass in review before Sir Robert Brooke-Popham.
