MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Fleet Air Arm Off Crete. DESCRIPTION: The Navy and the Fleet Air Arm assisted in the Battle of Crete. SHOTLIST: Shots of battleship which might come in useful. Aboard an aircraft-carrier planes are bombed up and enemy planes attack. Fighters take off and AA shells fill the sky. Fulmars and Albacores landing. The following may, or may not belong to the above story: Shot of White Ensign. GS Catalina take off. Interior of radio cabin and chart room. Swordfishes take off from carrier. Fulmars take off & in flight and landing on carrier. GS Albacores land on carrier and in flight. Officer traces course of ship on map and shots of officers on bridge. Destroyers at sea and with the coast in the background.
