Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: New American Ambassador Arrives. DESCRIPTION: Mr John Winant is welcomed to London by the King. SHOTLIST: Mr John G Winant steps from his plane at Bristol and is greeted by HRH, Group Captain and Duke of Kent. (Interview). At a railway station, en route, the King greets the ambassador. Later at the Embassy, Mr Winant poses before a map. Included in the story are excellent scenes of Windsor Castle taken from the train. The Windsor Castle scenes are censored.
