MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mr Wilkie Visits the City. DESCRIPTION: Mr Wilkie visits the City of London and General Sikorski. In the evening he visited a London shelter. SHOTLIST: Mr Wilkie visits the city where he sees the damage. He goes to St Paul’s, from where he goes to the Bank of England and the House of Commons. Mr Wilkie Visits Shelterers - CARD 40407 Mr Wilkie inspects shelters at night and talks with the occupants. He makes a speech, and the people afterwards sing "In the shade of the old apple tree".
