Summary
The Indian capital was one of the stop-over places for President Nixon during his lightning 12-day round-the-world goodwill tour. He received a warm welcome with the temperature at 110 degrees - politically it was a bit cooler. Before returning home, Mr Nixon made a very brief stop-over at Mildenhall, the American Air Force base in Suffolk. While his plane refuelled the President had talks with Mr Wilson.
