Summary
America’s space achievement of 1968 - a copybook lift-off for Apollo Seven; a giant spaceship, a giant success for the United States. Captain Wally Schirra and his crew, Donn Eisele and Walter Cunningham reported all systems go. Within minutes they were in their 17,500 mph orbit. Then another near miracle - the famous TV spectacular. Colds forgotten, the greatest show OFF earth went on the air.
