Summary
A new aid to safety on the roads is a tricycle, either pedalled or power driven, which has an independently suspended front wheel making for far safer cornering and more flexible steering. In London’s Stepney, scientists are working on a new machine which will make life easier for the crippled. It is an ingenious four wheeled vehicle which through a series of projecting spokes can climb stairs. For normal use the spokes are retractable and controls consist of one switch - an excellent aid to the handicapped.
