- Summary
- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Namur Bombarded - Belgium. DESCRIPTION: The Nazi Air Force is wreaking havoc across France and Belgium. The roads are lined with refugees in scenes reminiscent of 1914. The city of Namur is devastated, leaving whole streets of uninhabitable houses. SHOTLIST: Fires rage uncontrollably and wreckage fills the streets. A man walks slowly through and he appears to be blind. Indescribable havoc is everywhere and inside of house corpses, terribly mutilated, strew the floor. All scenes are very similar throughout the story but are by far the best scenes of this sort seen so far. French tractors take artillery ammunition up to the forward sectors. Various ruins and bodies lying around. (Maternity hospital) which was bombed.
