Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: News From Norway ("Grom" Sunk). DESCRIPTION: Movietone sails with the fleet operating in the Norwegian campaign. Whilst escorting troopships the convoy comes under attack from the Nazi airforce. SHOTLIST: Various shots aboard a destroyer as it sweeps into the Fjord firing as it goes. Various shots of cruisers, destroyers (including the "Grom") and a battleship (thought to be the "Warspite"). Guns blaze away at aircraft and then survivors of the sunken destroyer are rescued. Shots of the survivors, one with his dog.
