Summary
A Munich plane crash shatters Britain’s finest post-war football team. Seven of its players are among the twenty-one people killed in the crash: ten more, as well as United’s famous manager Matt Busby, are injured - some seriously. Eight leading British sports journalists are also among the dead. The most tragic blow to English soccer for many years.
