- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: French Canadians March Through London. DESCRIPTION: The French Canadian Royal Twenty-Second Regiment take over Guard Duty at Buckingham Palace. SHOTLIST: Men of the 22nd Regiment march through London headed by a band. They march through the streets which are crowd-lined to the Wellington Barracks. Story used in conjunction with their taking over of the Guards at the Palace. Canadians Take Over Palace Guard - CARD 38795 The column of men wheels into the Palace yard led by the band of the Grenadier Guards. Inside the yard, they parade before the King and Queen and General McNaughton. (The King wears Naval uniform). Then the men take over from the Welsh Guards, instructions are read in French and they march out again to their duties.
