MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Winston Churchill in France. DESCRIPTION: M Daladier, the Duke of Windsor and Mr Churchill (First Sea Lord) visit the troops. SHOTLIST: Winston Churchill pays a visit to M Campinchi who shows him round his building. Then he goes to GHQ where, after inspecting the Guard of Honour, he meets Admiral Darlan and General Gamelin. 3ft Close up of Churchill. Daladier Inspects The Troops - CARD 37736 Premier Daladier visits Alsace and sees various units on the border. He comes out of the Maginot Line, winds his way between barbed wire entanglements and then shakes hands with several soldiers. Duke of Windsor At The Front - CARD 37737 In spite of the snow that falls heavily, Major-General the Duke of Windsor sees various parts of the Maginot Line and looks out over the Rhine. He studies a map.
