Summary
In a week of arrival and departure, the most publicized arrivals were America’s quads - two boys and two girls born to Brooklyn New York couple. Heaviest departure list comes from Shanghai which the Nationalists say they will turn into a second Stalingrad. To Liverpool for another departure, that of the First Battalion Royal Leicesters for duty in Hong Kong. Finally, another arrival Governor and Mrs Tom Dewey of New York at Southampton being met by Pathe’s reporter.
