- Summary
- De-lousing German POWs in a prison camp. They then receive rations and are numbered and counted, and their kit searched. Castle of Princess Valerie Maria Arenburg who disputed the right of the American Army to occupy it. She lodged her protest with an American Colonel who refused her request and moved his men into the 300 room castle on a 16,000 acre estate. Arrival in Sheffield of Flight Sergeant Donald Meese and his German wife Maria. This marriage has aroused a lot of controversy and poses the problem of acceptance.
