Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Drive to the Guildhall. DESCRIPTION: The King’s speech at the Guildhall. SHOTLIST: On the day after their arrival back in London, the King and Queen drive in State through crowds lining the street, to the Guildhall. At the City Boundary, the ceremony of the Sword is enacted, and on arrival at the Guildhall, they go inside for luncheon. NB - We used the King’s Speech, and demonstrated it with shots from the Library, of the Royal Tour of Canada and America. Shots of the King, Queen and Princesses waving from the balcony of the Palace.
