A basic site that unfortunately has many dead links. However, where it does provide information, it claims to do so in an unbiased way. The site contains UK parliamentary results from 1983 onwards, and had results for European elections from 1994 as well as miscellaneous statistics.

HPOL is a searchable multimedia database of ‘politically significant audio materials’ relevant to American history and politics. It contains over 100 speeches, streamed using RealAudio, from the 1930s to the present day, with accompanying transcripts. The subjects include Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King (including ‘I have a dream...'), Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr., Earl Warren and Franklin D. Roosevelt, but the majority of speeches are by John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard Nixon, with a selection of Watergate recordings. The site is a model of clarity and a good illustration of how to present oral history on the Internet.
