Dideoxy Dna Sequencing Reaction

Synopsis
In order to determine the order of nucleotides in DNA, it is necessary to perform DNA sequencing reactions. The ability to sequence double-stranded DNA, instead of having to prepare single-stranded DNA, is one of the most important recent advances to simplify the DNA sequencing reaction. This is accomplished by the thermal cycle, dideoxy DNA sequencing reaction, which is documented in this video. Illustrates by means of animation difficult concepts, such as how sequencing reactions work.
