Synopsis: Four case studies (starting out, Peter’s flyer, responding to a job ad, the speculative letter) and eight employment letters, to demonstrate that a job letter must be a business letter telling the reader clearly and succinctly that the or she needs to know and nothing more. The video highlights the importance of construction and planning, the need of a selling document using simple and positive language, the value of brevity and presentation, and the need for harmony between letter and CV.
