Synopsis
Explains how the likely visual impact of wind turbines and wind farms can be evaluated and shows that the subjective nature of visual impact assessments is complex and open to a wide variety of interpretations. Also demonstrates how the key issues of planning and the pubic acceptability of wind farms are being addressed, and explains why many planning authorities are carrying out studies to help guide future planning applications.
