Synopsis
Michael Fletcher and Keith Priest’s largest project is the world headquarters of Vodaphone Airtouch, to be built near Newbury, Berkshire. Hitherto the company has been spread in 54 separate locations in Newbury itself. The architects emphasise their work consists not only of designing buildings but also includes every aspect of landscaping including designing a traffic plan and bus system to enable movement between the old and new locations. The eventual scheme will be an anrchitecture of low pavilions surrounded by trees.
