Sir Laurens van der Post, who has devoted much of his life to the plight of the disappearing Bushmen of the Kalahari Desert, lectures to the Royal Geographical Society on exploration, recalling his original quest to find the Bushmen and, more generally, speaks about the nature of contemporary exploration. The 1990 lecture is followed by the six films of the 1956 television series, THE LOST WORLD OF KALAHARI.
