COLLEGE OF ST MARK AND ST JOHN

Description
The main video collection supports the taught modules on Media Studies, and to a lesser extent English Literature and History. The video collection comprises a large number of feature films from the USA, the UK and a collection of foreign language films. Many of these have an historical significance. Also there is a collection of documentaries, some of which are used as teaching aids and others which are studied as media artefacts. The collection includes a large number of popular television programmes, from game shows to soap operas to drama, as well as some corporate work. At present the College is building its archive of films and TV programmes directed by women.
