Fishermen’s huts in Naples have been demolished to prevent further spreading of the disease. Police and workmen descended on Naples harbour to ccarry out the task. Some of the shacks in the area were used for selling shellfish. Poisoned mussels were blamed for the spread of the disease. 26 people have died.
