Summary

British and US troops advancing through ruined streets of Bizerta. The airport at Sidi Ahmed which has been reduced to ruins by British and American bombing. The harbour with its sunken ships bore equal testimony to the bombing which it had received. Light naval units were soon in occupation and seaborne supplies began to come in. The quayside is flattened and enemy supply ships lay sunken in the harbour. Nazi prisoners begin their journey from Bizerta under their French guards. Other high ranking German and Italian Generals go by air. Those seen are Von Arnim, Cramer, Vaerst, Lohmeier, Krause and Messe.
