Summary
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the RAF a detachment of the RAF Regiment marches to Buckingham Palace where it will mount for 48 hours. The King and Queen, Air Chief Marshal Sir Charles Portal and Sir Archibald Sinclair are present to watch this ceremony. Later in the day Sir Charles Portal lays wreath at the Cenotaph where the RAF Ensign flies for the first time.
