- Merchant ships carrying arms and supplies to our troops in North Africa run the gauntlet between enemy planes and enemy ships. On one such journey a merchant ship catches fire whilst in harbour but fire fighters are quickly on the scene. On the journey home, naval escort ships precede the merchant ships.
