- Summary
- The Russians advance to the outskirts of Stalingrad. Russian Generals Rokosovski, Batov and Marshal Voronov are seen in trenches outside the city. Russian troops are seen firing rifles and machine guns during last fighting inside the city. Germans surrender from building in the city, and shots of the ensuing lines of prisoners. Captured German Chiefs of Staff including Brigadier General Demitriu, General Schlemmer, Major General Von Drebber and Lieutenant General Von Daniel. Shots of the German Supreme Commander of German Armies in Stalingrad Field Marshal Paulus and his Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Schmidt being interrogated by Russian Lieutenant General Shumilov. The liberated city with red flag being hung out and lines of German prisoners through streets.
