- Summary
- Russian command post located in an armoured train. Enemy position is traced on the map and train goes off to new location in the Leningrad area, where it is joined by other guns and blasts the German position. Russian troops enter the position and search for prisoners. German prisoners with their heads shaved are paraded through streets of Leningrad past angry crowds. Red Army divisions on the Kakinin and central fronts centring [?] around the Rzhev-Vyasma sector, bite deeper and deeper into German lines, the operation commanded by General Zhukov. Russian refugees return to their liberated but now flattened towns. Air combats take place between Russian, German and Italian fighters at Voronezh. Russian infantry and artillery in action in the Stalingrad area. Battle worn and wounded Russian soldiers from the front line are given refreshments by an old lady.
